An Old German Pernambuco Violin Bow
With a little reconditioning, its tough to beat old stock German bows - the quality of the pernambuco they sourced was often excellent, even in trade class fabrications. This particular bow is stamped “Germany” on the audience side of the handle, and “Carl **....” Unfortunately, the maker’s stamp is worn and the last name is illegible. Strong and sprightly. In good condition, less the very tip of the facing having been broken, and in Lieu of which, offered at a modest price.
