Trade In Policy

We honor 100% trade in values of instruments and bows purchased from Cohen Violins for their final purchase price towards a shop owned instrument of higher value, less the cost of a replacement set of strings and any restoration required from normal wear and tear. If there have been any more significant damages or repairs, the trade in value will be determined at our discretion.

All other instruments and bows brought in proposed trade will be examined on an individual basis for condition, market value, and suitability for Cohen Violins. Documentation and appraisals will also be taken into consideration before we make an offer at fair wholesale value.
