Trial Policy
Although you can purchase items outright through our site, Cohen Violins offers a 10 day trial to clients residing in the contiguous United States. In addition to completing our trial contract, we require a valid driver’s license with your current address, and either a completed check for each item, or a valid credit card to place a hold on. The checks are returned or destroyed at your discretion and the holds are released upon the safe return of our items. From the moment you sign for the package, you are solely responsible for these items until they return safely to us and should be handled with the utmost care and attention to our shipping procedures and guidelines. You are responsible for any damage that occurs in your care or during return shipping.
In the event of a completed transaction, the outgoing shipping amount is credited back to you as part of the purchase price. You are otherwise responsible for the cost of shipping both ways.
You may audition up to two instruments and four bows at once.
International clients must complete their purchase in full to receive any items. You will have ten days from the date of arrival as a trial period, during which you may elect to return any item(s). When the item(s) return safely, we then process a refund, less the outgoing shipping cost for which you are responsible.
