A Good Swiss Viola Bow by Werner Ernst

A good viola bow by the Swiss achetier, Werner Ernst. Stamped “Werner Ernst” on the player side of the handle and “Swiss made” on the right. Ernst was one of several skilled bow makers to be employed at the Finkel shop, for which he produced various grades of tools. Octagonal stick of pernambuco, balanced at 70 grams, with a fully lined silver on ebony frog, silver lapping, three piece silver button, and leather thumb grip.
