A Good Silver Mounted Violin Bow, Markneukirchen School.

Made in the first quarter of the 20th century, this Markneukirchen school violin bow was the lifelong workhorse of a recently retired professional. Silver and ebony mounted, with a Parisian eye and one-piece silver button, and quality of pernambuco consistent with earlier Nurnbergers. Wear to the handle has worn the maker’s brandstamp and I as of yet have not had time to study the bow for attribution. Offered at a modest price until such determination is made.
