A Baroque Violin Bow From The Paulus Workshop
This mid century example of classic German bow making hails from the Paulus workshop. Although it bears no stamp, attribution for these is rather easy because of how consistent the output of baroque bows present from the Paulus workshop.
Attractive, high grade pernambuco for the stick and a weight of 56.5 grams. The playing qualities and response are fantastic; you would have to commission or purchase a baroque bow from a reputed maker to find something better, and certainly wouldn’t at this price.
