20th Century German “Voirin” Violin Bow, S/E.
Weighing 60.5 grams, this 20th century German violin bow sits right in the sweet spot for price and performance. Silver mounted and original in all its major parts, including its original tip facing, the bow has received a new silk on silk lapping and black lizard leather thumb grip for balance, which I personally set. Faintly brandstamped “Voirin” to the player side handle above the frog. Strong yet still supple, with consistency through the stick, the bow draws a colorful, seasoned sound and demonstrates easy control over the full gamut of articulations.
