Francois Lotte Violin Bow for JTL, Branded Pillot.

Francois Lotte was one of several makers whom used the “Pillot” brand (which had three iterations) stamped on the player side handle of this bow; likely made for JTL, this pernambuco bow is strong and straight, demonstrating that supple, flexible quality for which French bows of this vintage are still very much in demand. Nickel mounted, original in all its major components, including the face plate, with a new silk on silk lapping and lizard leather thumb grip and a balanced weight of 60.3 grams.
