Carl Fischer was predominantly an importer and purveyor in New York, circa 1920’s, the era from which this bow hails. Branded “Carl Fischer N.Y. ***” to the player side of the handle and “Tubbs” to the audience side. Though, there is little to compare with Tubbs, the bow is silver mounted, straight, and represents an excellent value in comparable craftsmanship.
