A Rare Lithuanian-American Violin by Charles J. Edlavitch, 1911

The third and final Edlavitch remaining in the collection is now available for audition, trial, and sale. Of the two already sold, one went some years ago to David Bromberg. Specifically, for his work toward an American Collection at the Smithsonian.

A remarkable violin and highly personal interpretation of Guarneri with some distinctly Bohemian characteristics and a voice every bit as rich and colorful as it’s unique aesthetic; featuring rosewood fittings with gold trim and a harp style Schmidt tailpiece.
