A Cello Made in Collaboration By Luis Pedro and Michael Goronok

Previous owner of Cleveland Violins, Michael Goronok managed a line of tooled but hand finished cellos out of Mexico that rivaled and surpassed most Chinese alternatives in the price point. These were finished and then varnished in his shop. This cello was a collaboration between then apprentice Luis Pedro and Michael Goronok, representing a step up from those more commercial cellos. Goronok cellos are well respected and have significantly appreciated in recent years. As such, this cello is an excellent value and hits well above its weight, so to speak. I am very impressed with it and cannot recommend it enough as a valiant competitor in the under $10,000 class. Currently outfitted with Larsen strings.
