Ming Jiang Zhu (1955-2014) was a highly acclaimed Chinese artisan who achieved international renown and acknowledgement for the caliber of his work after winning gold and silver medals at the Violin Society of America’s international competitions. His workshop continued to produce high quality instruments after his passing, continuing his traditions under the leadership of his brother-in-law, Wei Xian Zhu, and offers a variety of models.

This instrument from 2013 was crafted in Ming Jiang Zhu’s workshop before his death and the stratification of models, offering a competitive voice at a modest price point from the height of the workshop’s craft.
